Biggest adventure
Costa Rica hands down!! Trippster happens to be a trained service dog as well as a certified good boy, so naturally when his mom's went to Costa Rica for a vacation he didn't have to stay home!! One of his mom's started a dog rescue to help give some help to the folks (and dogs of course!) When we were down there he met so many of the dogs that we were helping to which was so cool! Tripp hasn't met a beach he didn't like and so we just knew he would be obsessed with the beaches down south. Holy smokes was he ever!! He absolutely drank his body weight in salt water π and was a total rockstar!
Closest call
No joke but the porcupine incident of 2025...we do not have any pics of it for obvious reasons and it was super traumatic for him poor guy. He had 11quills in his face and 19 on his legs. Fun fact - porcupine's don't "shoot" their quills, they just stand and wait for their hunters to come and get what's coming to them π«€and the quills are barbed and you need needle nose pliers (or a vet!!) to get them out!
Why Tripp deserves the crown
He is honestly the most patient dog I've ever met. We sometimes expect a lot from him and he continues to deliver whatever we ask if him. He made us a family and I would love to be able to give him something epic!! Oh and also adventure is literally his middle name!! Since the first day we took him home he has walked beside us through so much and absolutely loves getting outside and if there is snow, water, mountains or mud, even better!!
